The applicant must have
a minimum of 5 feet "2"
inches. |

The
applicant must be of Malayalee
origin (at least one parent). |
|

The
applicants must be above
16 years of age and below
24 years of age on July
1st, 2008. (Age proof is
mandatory i.e. driver's
license, passport or birth
certificate.). |

Contestants should submit
a no objection certificate
from their parents / guardian
to the Organizers - Impresario
on their arrival. |
|
|
During the pre events and
the main event contestants
should not take up other
assignments. |
|
|
The contestant will not
be permitted chaperones
/ guardian during grooming.
|
|
|
Contestants should strictly
follow the timings of food,
rehearsals and grooming
sessions. |
|
|
Contestants should not drop
out after being selected
for the finals. |
|
|
The applicant will have
to participate in a disciplined
and diligent manner throughout
the training program as
per the schedule that will
given to them, and participate
in all the rehearsals. |
|
|
Contestants should make
themselves available for
all press meets and photo
/ video shoots arranged
by the Organizers. |
|
|
Contestants will not talk
to any kind of media, before,
during and after the contest,
without prior permission
of the Organizers. |
|
|
The Organizers will not
bear the contestant’s
telephone calls, laundry
and additional food bills
or any other services during
the preliminary and grooming
sessions at the hotel. |
|
|
All Prizes are subject to
deduction of tax at source
and all other taxes, as
required by law. |
|
|
The
Organizers are not responsible
if sponsors do not make
good the prizes promised
by them. |
|
|
The Organizers will not
be held responsible for
the loss of any personal
belongings during the grooming
sessions or at any time
during the pageant. |
|
|
The Organizers are not responsible
for any loss or physical
injury that occurs to the
applicant on account of
their participation in the
pageant. The applicant will
participate at her own risk
and will have no claim against
Impresario EMI Ltd in any
regard. |
|
|
Incorrect information will
result in disqualification,
whether discovered prior
to, during or after the
finals. |
|
|
Schedule of events and qualification
rounds are subject to change
at the discretion of the
Organizers. |
|
| 19. |
The
Organizers is not responsible
for non - telecast of the
show / non-completion /
non - occurrence of the
event. |
|
|
If the applicant wins the
pageant, the applicant agrees
to participate in the Miss
India pageant, or any such
suitable pageant advised
by the Organisers, and abides
by the rules and regulations
governing the pageant. |
|
| 21. |
If the applicant wins the
Miss Kerala, she will not
participate in any other
pageant during the time
that title is held, unless
authorized in writing by
the Organizer. |
|
| 22. |
Impresario reserves the
right to use the photographs,
interviews and video footage
of the contestants for sales
promotion, advertising and
live / recording programming.
All final contestants will
have to sign a separate
letter of contract for participation
into the finals of Miss
Kerala and the title winners
would be governed by a separate
contract which would be
signed after the contest.

In the event of any dispute,
Impresario EMI's decision
is final and binding. |
|
|
The courts of Kerala have
jurisdiction over all disputes. |
